Officials anticipate traffic switch soon to accommodate work on Blue Mound Road in Fort Worth

This project spans from Willow Springs Road to US Highway 81/287 in Fort Worth. It includes new travel lanes, intersection and drainage improvements, sidewalks, streetlights, bicycle lanes and rehabilitation of existing travel lanes as needed. Crews are currently working on the north half of Blue Mound Road and on the roundabout at its intersection with Willow Springs. Fort Worth officials anticipate they will switch traffic to the new concrete lanes in November or December to complete the west half of Willow Springs and the south half of Blue Mound.

Timeline: January 2019-July 2020

Cost: $17.61 million
