The Harris County Toll Road Authority announced it is waiving tolls on some roadways due to weather conditions from Tropical Depression Imelda. As of 4:20 p.m., these include:

• Hardy Toll Road
• Northeast Sam Houston Tollway between Hwy. 59 and Hwy. 90
• Sam Houston Tollway Central south of Hwy. 290
• Sam Houston Tollway South below I-10
• Sam Houston Tollway West between Hwy. 290 and Bellaire

#Houwx Update: As we continue monitoring weather conditions, tolls will now be waived at W. Sam Houston Tollway (between 290 & Bellaire), northeast Sam Houston Tollway (from 59 to US 90) and Hardy Toll Road. This is a dynamic situation and we’ll continue to update drivers #Imelda

At this time, tolls are being waived at Sam Houston Tollway Central (south of 290) and South (south of I-10) toll plazas because of high water on the frontage roads. We continue to monitor high water locations, check back for updates.
