The Texas Department of Transportation will hold two public meetings in January to present potential alignments for US 380 and Loop 288 through Denton County.

The first public meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 15 in Frisco in Memorial High School's cafeteria, 12300 Frisco St. The public presentation begins at 7 p.m.

The second meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St., Denton. This public presentation also begins at 7 p.m.

The feasibility study is looking at improvements to US 380 from Loop 288 to CR 26 as well as Loop 288 from US 380 to I-35. A plan for the two roads is expected to be finalized by the end of this year.

TxDOT has already studied possible alignments for US 380 through Collin County.
