7 lane closures to know in the Greater Houston area this weekend, July 20-22

I-45 closures

The northbound exit ramp to FM 646 in League City is closed daily from Saturday, July 21 to Sunday, July 22, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers can take the FM 517 exit ramp as a detour.

I-610 South Loop closures

Lanes traveling eastbound and westbound from Woodridge Drive to Hwy. 35/Reveille Street are closed continuously from 9 p.m. Friday, July 20 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 23.

I-610 West Loop closures

The northbound connector ramp to US-290 Northwest is closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 19 to Saturday, July 21. Drivers can detour to I-610 eastbound, then take the Ella exit and U-turn to US-290 westbound.

The southbound frontage road from Woodway Drive to Post Oak Road is closed continuously from 5 a.m. Saturday, July 21 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 22.

I-69 Eastex Freeway closures

Two inside lanes going northbound from FM 1960 to Kingwood Drive are closed overnight from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 19 to 5 a.m. Saturday, July 21.

US 290 Northwest closures

Eastbound from FM 529 to Little York Road is closed continuously from 9 p.m. Friday, July 20 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 23. Drivers can detour to eastbound collector-distributor to the West Little York/Gessner Road exit, continue on the eastbound frontage road and re-enter mainlanes after Gessner.

The eastbound and westbound exit ramp between West 34th Street and Pinemont Drive is closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 21. Westbound drivers can detour to the Hollister Road exit and U-turn. Eastbound drivers can detour to the Mangum Road/Dacoma Street exit and U-turn.
