The Asian American Resource Center seeks applications for its Community Exhibit Program, according to a press release.

The quarterly program offers an opportunity for local artists to exhibit work inspired by Asia and the Pacific Islands as well as art created by artists of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.

Selected works will be displayed for approximately 10 weeks in 2019 at the AARC at 8401 Cameron Road, Austin, according to the press release. Applications are evaluated on originality, artistic impression and appropriateness.

The types of projects accepted are 2D work such as paintings, drawings, prints and photographs as well as 3D art such as sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and glasswork.
