Neighborhood restaurant The Back Porch opened Friday in Northwest Austin, serving burgers, pizzas and even Hot Cheeto Fries.

The restaurant, located at 12233 N. RM 620, Ste. 104, Austin, has an outdoor patio with about 40 seats, 22 beers on draft and Cuvee cold-brew coffee on tap, owner Dan Parrott said.

Catering to customers' needs is what Parrott said he plans to focus on in his newest restaurant.

“We want people to have a say in how they spend their time,” he said.

Parrott said he recommends diners try the burgers, which are made with four cuts of Black Angus beef, including sirloin. The restaurant also uses a wood-fired oven for its pizzas and flatbreads.

The full menu will be available the week of July 24, and Parrott said he plans to have specials in the coming weeks. For more information, call the restaurant at 512-428-4047 or visit www.facebook.com/backporchatx.
