Under the direction of Georgia Parmelee, the concert will feature many of the best loved selections from such musicals as Rodgers & Hammerstein classics Oklahoma, South Pacific, King and I and Sound of Music. Singers also will offer new classics from Tony-award winning shows Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Sweet Charity. Community Association Ballroom, 2 Texas Ave., Sun City. www.sctexas.org Bowling with Badges  Sunday, April 23 Georgetown and Round Rock police officers will support  local Special Olympics Texas athletes at Mel’s Lone Star Lanes next weekend. The inaugural Bowling with Badges event is open to the public and will feature members of the community, police officers and SOTX athletes bowling together. Registration for this event can be completed here. The entry fee is $30 per person and $120 per team.  The fee includes two games, shoe rental and a t-shirt. Team Registration also includes one large pizza.
