Early voting is underway for the Feb. 18 special election to fill the Place 1 seat on Frisco City Council. Council member Bob Allen, who currently holds the Place 1 seat, is vacating the seat to run for Frisco mayor. Beginning today, early voting will have extended hours. Here are the remaining early voting times and dates:

• Feb. 9: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Feb. 10-11: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Feb. 13-14: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

• Collin County Elections Office, 2010 Redbud Blvd., Ste. 102, McKinney

Denton County

• Fire Station No. 4, 4485 Cotton Gin Road, Frisco
• Fire Station No. 7, 330 W. Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco
• Denton County Elections Office, 701 Kimberley Drive, Denton
