Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko will open in Frisco in January or early February, owner Theresa Lam said.

The cafe serves Japanese Matcha with ingredients imported directly from Japan. It offers matcha tea, shaved ice, soft serve ice cream and other specialty treats. The cafe also features Hojicha in hot and cold drinks.

“Most of our offerings are crafted in-house to ensure the authentic, true-to-Japan experience you’ve come to expect from a premium matcha café,” Lam said.
