Holocaust survivor Ruth Steinfeld visits Fort Bend ISD
Steinfeld will come to Clements High School to speak to students, staff and the community as part of the school's outreach program. Her program will explore the Holocaust and its impacts.

Lunar New Year's Eve Celebration
Universal Door Meditation Center hosts the event to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien will have a formal bell ceremony to welcome the New Year.

"Sister Act, the Musical" at Bush High School

Yellow Rose Derby Girls Draft
Texian Brewing Company hosts the roller derby team for their 2017 draft. Women can meet the team and grab a drink from 4-10 p.m. A glass and three drinks cost $10.
Yellow Rose Derby Girls are registered with the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association and are based in southwest Houston. The team practices Monday and Thursday evenings at Southwest Indoor Soccer in Stafford.

Sugar Land Home & Garden Show
The seventh annual event features more than 200 vendors exhibiting interior and exterior
products and decor including outdoor cooking, color consultations and topiary design. Topiary artist Pearl Fryar joins a host of design experts to provide home-improvement guidance.

Brew & Vinos Craft Beer and Wine Festival
The second annual event will bring together area breweries and vineyards for a weekend of sampling. Admission includes a beer tasting card good for either eight 3-ounce beer samples, or a wine tasting card good for 4 2.5-ounce wine samples.
Additional tasting cards will be available for $6 and food trucks will be on site. The event will also have a shopping tent, one-off kegs, a wine auction and a beer competition.
Participating breweries include Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company, No Label Brewing Company, 8th Wonder, Lone Pint Brewery, Alltech Lexington Brewing, Southern Star Brewing, Karbach Brewery, Spindletap Brewery, Saloon Door Brewing, Adelberts Brewery, Alamo Beer, Under the Radar Brewery, 11 Below Brewery, Cyclers, Freetail and Huff Brewing.
Dionisio Winery and Water2Wine Houston Winery will also participate. The wine auction will take place Saturday and the Brew & Vinos Beer Competition will be held Sunday.
