From live music to a regional train show, there's plenty to do this weekend in Plano. Here's your guide.

Friday


Lockhart Smokehouse, 1026 E. 15th St., Plano, will be hosting live music from 6:30-9 p.m. Dale Riley, a country artist from Royse City, will be performing.



The Art Centre Theatre presents “Dreamgirls,” an American musical about the history of the Motown and R&B genres. The production also tells a behind-the-scenes story of the entertainment business. The first performance will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. with performances until Feb. 5. Tickets can be purchased here for $15.

Saturday


The Dallas Area Train Show is bringing model-train displays, operating layouts, how-to clinics and video displays to Plano this weekend. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway.
