Haunt Jaunt 5k and Fun Run is a nighttime, Halloween-themed race hosted by the city of Plano through Oak Point Nature Preserve, 2801 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano. The one mile run begins at 6:30 p.m., costume parade and awards at 7 p.m. and Haunt Jaunt at 7:25 p.m. The one mile run costs $10 per child, each child receives one free adult entry, and the 5k costs $35. Proceeds for the event benefit the city’s Adaptive Recreation programs, which offer recreational opportunities to individuals with special needs. 972-941-5400.
