Here are four things you need to know: Williams Drive Corridor Study Open House Oct. 6 The City of Georgetown and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization are holding an open house for citizens to learn about the future of the corridor between Austin Avenue and Jim Hogg Road. The deadline to register is Oct. 10. 1-3 p.m. Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, 1 Chamber Way, Georgetown. 512-930-8454. www.georgetown.org St. David’s Georgetown Hospital new entrance A ribbon-cutting event for the new driveway entrance of the hospital along I-35 has been postponed from Friday due to continued construction. The new driveway and signs along I-35 will provide more visible access to the hospital for emergency vehicles, patients and employees, according to the hospital. There has been no update on a new ribbon-cutting date at this time.
