Several restaurants and businesses have recently opened in Georgetown, including Encantada, Sprouts Farmers Market and Floor & Decor.

Additionally, several others, such as B Street, Texas Honey Ham, and Affinity at San Gabriel Wellness and Recovery Center, are coming soon.

1. Encantada

The Mexican restaurant has moved into the space previously occupied by El Monumento. El Monumento announced its closure and transition of ownership through a Facebook post on Oct. 24. Alex and Cherie Weber are the new owners of the restaurant.2. Sprouts Farmers Market

Located in the Cedar Breaks West development, the store carries a selection of fresh produce, meat and seafood. It also sells bulk food items, including nuts and dried fruit; natural body care and household cleaning supplies; vitamins and supplements; and baked goods.3. Floor & Decor


The store replaced a former H-E-B location and underwent a $7.2 million renovation. The brand offers hard-surface flooring, bathroom and lighting fixtures, and installation materials, according to its website.4. Lazer Beam

The business is an extension of Prima Dora and took over the space after Prima Dora’s relocation. The shop sells a variety of children’s items including children’s books, stuffed animals, vintage toys and puppets.5. Ralph Gracie Georgetown

The Brazilian jiujitsu academy offers gi, or uniformed, and no-gi classes for children and adults. Owned by husband and wife John and Bethany Simas, the studio incorporates fighting techniques from Ralph Gracie, a Brazilian mixed martial artist. John has taught Brazilian jiujitsu for 15 years, and serves as the academy's head instructor.6. Frontier Bank

7. B Street

The business will be the first brick and mortar location for Bahler Street Pizza, which currently operates as a mobile food truck. The new location will offer a limited Bahler Street menu, which specializes in wood-fired sourdough pizza with unique toppings such as fresh blackberries, orange marmalade onion jam and roasted pumpkin. The space will be shared with a taproom by Barking Armadillo Brewing, a family-owned Georgetown brewery, co-owner Frank Riggle said. The mobile food truck will remain operational and available for events.8. Texas Honey Ham

Owner Robert Siller said construction on the new storefront began in mid-November. The business sells honey glazed sliced ham, roasted turkey breast, breakfast platters, sandwiches, soups, sides and more.9. Affinity at San Gabriel Wellness and Recovery Center

The recovery center will serve adults struggling with substance abuse and related psychiatric disorders, said Rich Jones, Director of Business Development for the center. The facility will have 44 beds, with private or shared rooms available for patients. Amenities include a sauna, meditation space, art therapy, yoga, gym equipment, a sound bath and more.

10. Frontier Infusion Center


The medical infusion center will treat over 50 conditions by administering medicine directly into a patient’s bloodstream through an IV. A range of medical and hydration infusions will be offered, including vitamins, antibiotics, biologics and insulin therapy for people with diabetes.Relocations

11. Prima Dora

The business relocated across the square from its previous location at 114 W. Eighth St., Georgetown. Owned by Melody and Nathan English, the store sells lamps, artwork, candles, records, books and more.12. Guaranty Bank & Trust

The bank has relocated from its initial location at 120 W. Eighth St., Ste. 201, Georgetown, to a location near the square. The business offers personal and business banking services in addition to wealth management and mortgage services.

13. San Gabriel Eye Center

Owners and husband and wife duo Drs. Jason and Donna McCain will relocate their offices into a building Comfort Keepers In Home Care previously occupied behind the business, allowing more of the existing space to be used for patients, Donna McCain said. Therapeutic optometrists at the practice can diagnose eye pathologies, treat infections, fit contact lenses, consult patients for laser surgery, offer glaucoma and retinal health exams.Closings

14. Georgetown Antique Mall

After 33 years of business, the antique shop will close by the end of the year, employee Beth Kenefick said. The store is known for selling an array of items including jewelry, furniture, civil war memorabilia and more, according to its website. Owner Carolyn Martin ran the store alongside her husband, who passed away last year, Kenefick said.15. Wag Heaven—downtown location

Co-owners Jusak Yang Bernhard and Jeff Manley closed the pet store’s downtown location. The business’s remaining location is at 3010 Williams Drive, Ste. 115, Georgetown. Manley said downtown construction and parking difficulties led to their decision to consolidate into the one store.
