Grapevine City Council approved Round 1 during its Aug. 18 joint meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The bowling and entertainment center will replace the former Polar Ice skating facility located inside Grapevine Mills, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, and will contain billiard tables, darts, arcade games, bowling lanes, karaoke and ping pong.

"We just opened a location in Arlington in January, and we think this would be great for Grapevine," Round 1 representative Shawn Butler said. "We know the city is all about family-orientated businesses and activities, and this will be family-orientated. We will only serve beer and wine; no liquor."

The hours of operation will be from 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Visit www.round1usa.com for more details.
