The intersection of Rockhill Parkway and Coit Road will be closed beginning June 20 in all directions for about eight weeks, according to the city’s communication office. Traffic will only be allowed on Rockhill Parkway east of Preston Road to access a business and/or church. Coit Road will be closed to through traffic between U.S. 380 and Rockhill Parkway/ Virginia Parkway. Alternate routes will be Preston Road and Eldorado Parkway. Traffic will only be allowed on Coit Road south of US 380 to access another McKinney neighborhood. No traffic will be allowed on Coit Road south of that neighborhood.
