Local wine bar Three20Three offers an intimate setting to enjoy a glass of distinctive pours such as the Valentin Bianchi malbec, which is produced in South America.
"Most malbecs are spicy, but this one is very smooth," bartender Trey Talley said. "Malbecs are only from Argentina. It's like how Champagne is only from France—I think that makes it really exclusive."
A glass of the Valentin Bianchi is $9.75, and the bottle costs $29. However, the business offers $10 off bottles of wine after 6 p.m. every Wednesday.
Talley said many of his customers at Three20Three enjoy the large etched wine glasses as well.
Talley said a glass of the Malbec pairs well with a steak or pork chop.
In addition to a variety of other wine selections, Three20Three offers a wide selection of craft beer—nearly 90 brews are available—and a full menu.
