John Classe has been appointed to fill the remainder of Dan Mossakowski's second year on the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees, according to the district's communications office.
Classe will be sworn in at the June 16 regular trustees meeting and serve until the May 2015 elections, when a board member will be elected to fill the remaining year of the three-year term.
Classe is a financial adviser with Bell Financial Group and is involved with several community and school organizations including serving on the Frisco Community Development Corp. He and his wife, Melanie, have two children—both Isbell Elementary students.
Thirteen residents expressed interest in serving on the board.
Mossakowski, who served on the board for 10 years, resigned June 2 to focus on and pursue personal, family and business goals.
