Council members appointed 12 residents to the Lake Austin Task Force at the June 28 meeting.

The body was created to form a strategy to balance varying interests and create a strategy for development surrounding the lake in the future.

The appointees are Ernest Gonzalez, Linda Guerrero, Andrew Hawkins, Ben Hodges, Carol Lee Council, Jared Mathews, Pam Murfin, Mary Ann Neeley, Jane Rivera, Alan Roddy, Ellen Witt, Kenneth Pfluger and Nick Wiersema.
