Why are you running for this position?

I care about our district and community and want to continue shaping its future. I want to work alongside our current board, support the work already being done, and bring my experience and perspective to the table as we continue moving NCISD forward.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My priority is to help NCISD continue moving forward. I want to come alongside our board, support what is working, listen to our students, staff and community, and help address needs as they arise. I believe we can keep growing while staying focused on providing a strong education for every student.

How do you plan to balance responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars while also prioritizing students’ education?

We have a responsibility to meet our students' needs while being good stewards of taxpayer dollars. I would work with the board to evaluate priorities, use our resources responsibly, and support what is needed to give our students a strong education.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for New Caney ISD/Texas education in the next five years?

As our district continues to grow, we must be prepared for what comes with that growth. We need to keep supporting our teachers, meeting our students' needs, planning for facilities and resources, and making sure the quality of education grows with us.

Why are you running for this position?

I am running because public schools are the foundation of our republic, yet trust in the system is broken. Instead of driving parents to homeschooling or private options, I want our community to trust our district. I will ensure the people’s voices are heard, respected, and truly considered in every decision we make.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My top priority is restoring community trust by ensuring parents’ voices actively guide district decisions, giving families total confidence in our public schools. How do you plan to balance responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars while also prioritizing students’ education?

With ongoing construction across our district, we must conduct strict audits to guarantee taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently. Development must stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with community priorities. Rigorous financial oversight ensures every dollar spent builds safe, high-quality facilities while protecting our local taxpayers.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for New Caney ISD/Texas education in the next five years?

New Caney ISD’s greatest challenge over the next five years is managing rapid growth while ensuring we maintain a quality-over-quantity mindset. Students are individuals, not just another number in the system. Although you will never make everyone happy listening to the community and ensuring they are involved is a great way to start.

Why are you running for this position?

I am running to restore fiscal responsibility, empower parents, and refocus New Caney ISD on strong academic excellence. As a finance professional and dad of five, I want to ensure parents have a voice on the board, every tax dollar reaches the classroom, and our schools succeed.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My priorities are academic excellence, supporting and retaining outstanding teachers, and strict fiscal responsibility. I will ensure parents and teachers have a meaningful voice while using my financial expertise to demand transparent budgeting, maximize every taxpayer dollar’s impact on student learning, and strengthen community trust.

How do you plan to balance responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars while also prioritizing students’ education?

Balancing stewardship and student success requires strict accountability and zero waste. Using my professional financial background, I will audit spending to eliminate administrative bloat, ensuring every tax dollar is directed straight into classrooms, supporting our teachers, and elevating overall academic performance.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for New Caney ISD/Texas education in the next five years?

Balancing rapid enrollment growth while preparing students for a changing world is our greatest challenge. We must fund classrooms over administrative expansion, establish healthy technology boundaries so students stay focused, and provide teachers with protected planning time so they build lasting careers with NCISD.
