Collin County election officials have posted updated results for several state primary races with all 86 precincts reporting.
What you need to know
Keresa Richardson has won the Republican primary race for Texas House District 61, according to unofficial voting results from Collin County. Richardson, the incumbent, has received 12,466 votes, representing 66.99% of the vote. Frederick Frazier has received 6,144 votes, representing 33.01% of the vote.
Brittany Black won the Democratic primary race for the same seat having received 56.08% of the total vote. Black has received 8,764 votes while Jackie Bescherer has received 6,863 votes, representing 43.92% of the total vote.
Jeff Leach has won the Republican primary race for Texas House District 67. Leach, the incumbent, has received 11,955 votes, representing 64.27% of the vote. Matt Thorsen has received 6,646 votes, representing 35.73% of the vote.
Jordan Wheatley has won the Democratic primary race with 57.41% of the vote, according to results from Collin County. Wheatley has received 8,793 votes while Emeka Eluka has received 6,522 votes, representing 42.59% of the total vote.
In the Republican primary race for Texas House District 70, George Flint has won with 56.82% of the vote. He has received 6,403 votes, while Jack Ryan Gallagher has received 2,346 votes and Michael Hewitt has received 2,519 votes. Whoever wins the primary is expected to run against Mihaela Plesa in the November general election
Plesa, the incumbent, is running unopposed in the Democratic primary race.
Candy Noble has won the Republican primary race for Texas House District 89, according to results from Collin County. Noble, the incumbent, has received 10,508 votes, representing 52.75% of the total vote. Jeff Forrester has received 8,053 votes, and Freddie America has received 1,361 votes. Whoever wins the primary is expected to run against Angie Carraway in the November general election.
Carraway is running unopposed in the Democratic primary race.
Bob Hall is currently leading the Republican primary race for Texas Senate District 2, according to unofficial results from the Texas Secretary of State. Hall, the incumbent, has received 60,540 votes, representing 79% of the total vote. Jason Eddington has received 16,094 votes, representing 21% of the total vote. Votes have been cast across multiple counties, including Collin and Dallas, for this race. According to the secretary of state, 154 of 261 precincts are reporting results so far.
Whoever wins the primary is expected to run against Keenen Colbert in the November general election. Colbert is running unopposed in the Democratic primary race.
What else?
More than 72,000 ballots were cast in Collin County during early voting, which ran Feb. 17-27. The turnout represents nearly 9.66% of registered Collin County voters.
Totals from ballots cast March 3 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.

Keresa Richardson currently leads in the Republican primary race for Texas House District 61, according to unofficial voting results from Collin County. Richardson, the incumbent, has received 9,677 votes, representing 69.37% of the vote. Frederick Frazier has received 4,272 votes, representing 30.63% of the vote.
In the Democratic primary race for the same seat, Brittany Black currently leads with 55.10% of the vote. Black has received 6,412 votes while Jackie Bescherer has received 5,224 votes, representing 44.90% of the total vote.
Jeff Leach currently leads in the Republican primary race for Texas House District 67. Leach, the incumbent, has received 9,670 votes, representing 64.86% of the vote. Matt Thorsen has received 5,239 votes, representing 35.14% of the vote.
Jordan Wheatley currently leads the Democratic primary race with 59.10% of the vote, according to results from Collin County. Wheatley has received 7,144 votes while Emeka Eluka has received 4,943 votes, representing 40.90% of the total vote.

In the Democratic primary race for the same seat, Brittany Black currently leads with 54.74% of the vote, according to early voting results from Collin County. Black has received 5,980 votes while Jackie Bescherer has received 4,944 votes, representing 45.26% of the total vote.
