XO GiGi is now open in downtown McKinney, founder Gabrielle Parton said.
The business offers art supplies, artisan goods, books, cards, gifts and more, Parton said. XO GiGi also offers art classes and workshops for individuals of all skill levels, and features art from local artists in its gallery, she said.
“We're creating a true third place, a welcoming space outside of home and work where people can come together, create and be part of something,” Parton said in an email. “You don't need to be a fine artist or know how to draw. We're going to have fun learning, crafting and exploring together. Being engaged in the arts is such an important part of our health and wellness, and I want to help make it a meaningful part of everyday life in the community.”
