Three Mattress Firm stores in the Katy area have closed as part of the retailer’s Ch. 11 bankruptcy filing: 1443 S. Mason Road, 349 S. Mason Rd and 1266 Fry Road. The signage, products and furnishing at all three store have been removed as of Nov. 9. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out for an exact date of the closures. Mattress Firm filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 5 and expected to close up to 700 stores before the holiday season, per a press release.
