God’s Grace Learning Center, formerly First Baptist Childcare, received its child care license in mid-January to provide services as a newly formed nonprofit organization separate from First Baptist Church of Tomball, said Annette Collins, executive director of the center. The center operated under its former name for 47 years, she said. God’s Grace Learning Center is licensed to care for up to 150 children ages 6 weeks-12 years and will remain at its current site at 411 Oxford St., Tomball, until funds can be raised to build a new facility, Collins said. Part-time, full-time and drop-in care are available as well as a summer day camp. 281-351-5333. www.godsgracelc.com
