Home Care Assistance of Richardson, located at 6850 N. Shiloh Road, Ste. R, Garland, celebrated one year of business in October. The business provides older adults with quality care intended to enable them to live happier, healthier lives at home. Services include hourly care, live-in or 24-hour care, post-hospital care, care for patients who have experienced a stroke, Parkinson’s care and hospice care. In April the business moved from its former location to Richardson. On Oct. 25 a ribbon-cutting event will be held featuring an interactive presentation of the business's proprietary Cognitive Therapeutics Method, an activity-based brain fitness program; a Q&A session; raffles and prizes; and snacks and refreshments. 469-573-4213. www.homecareassistancerichardson.com
