Collaborative For Fresh Produce opened May 1 at 101 W. Renner Road, Ste. 160, Richardson. The nonprofit fights food insecurity and food waste by sourcing high-quality surplus produce from wholesalers and farms and distributing it to local food banks. The organization began in 2016 as a two-year pilot project led by Feeding Texas, the North Texas Food Bank and the Lyda Hill Foundation. 469-858-8050.
