Kerbey Lane Cafe still plans to open a new location at 1806 W. Braker Lane, Austin.

The Austin restaurant chain had to seek reapproval of its site plan for the Braker location and will have its case potentially heard at the Aug. 6 meeting of the zoning and platting commission, a company spokesperson said.

Kerbey Lane Cafe is aiming to begin construction by the end of 2019. The restaurant will be 5,800 square feet, have seating for around 266 guests and include a large outdoor patio. www.kerbeylanecafe.com
