The Cathedral, a new coworking space, gallery and events venue, will open in late October at 2403 E. 16th St., Austin, in a refurbished church built in the 1930s. It will serve as the permanent hub for atxGALS, a local group of female artists that hosts nontraditional exhibits and pop-up events. www.atxgals.org
