Jamie Chaidez opened Ma's Mini Pigs' Farm & Rescue, located in east Kyle off FM 150, on Nov. 7. Chaidez said the business is operating primarily as a rescue for mini pigs, which can be as large as 200 pounds, and hopes in the future to contract with local municipalities to board small- to medium-sized livestock.
