Updated June 8: Target public relations spokesperson Kristy Welker said the small-format Target store near The University of Texas at Austin has pushed its opening date to October.
Welker said the company is projecting an Oct. 18 opening.
Posted Jan. 3: Target will open a flexible-format store near The University of Texas campus in July. The store, located in the Dobie Twenty21 apartments at 2021 Guadalupe St., Austin, is smaller than Target’s usual stores at 22,000 square feet.
The new Target will have a selection of fresh groceries, grab-and-go meals, UT apparel and portable technology products and accessories. www.target.com
