Landscape architect Douglas Reed of Reed Hilderbrand has been awarded the American Society of Landscape Architects' design medal, one of the highest honors that can be given to a landscape architect, according to an ASLA press release. Among Douglas’ design accomplishments is the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at The Contemporary Austin’s downtown location at 3809 W. 35th St., Austin. The park received the 2017 Excellence Award in Analysis and Planning from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, according to Reed Hilderbrand. T
