Great Hills Country Club is hosting a ground breaking ceremony Aug. 17 for its new clubhouse at 5914 Lost Horizon Drive, Austin, near The Arboretum.

The ground breaking ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. at the club, which previously announced its plans in February.

Construction on the $12 million project is expected to take 18-24 months and includes a two-story, 27,000-square-foot clubhouse and 4,500-square-foot activity center.
