What Katy, Fulshear residents need to know about early voting for the Nov. 4 election

Waller County voters can visit one of four early voting locations open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. from Oct. 20-24, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 25 and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 27-31, according to the county’s website. Polling locations will be closed Oct. 26.

On the ballot

Lamar CISD voters will decide on the district’s $1.99 billion bond, which includes four propositions for new campuses, stadium improvements, technology refresh and student devices, Community Impact reported.

Meanwhile, residents in the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department service area will have an additional ballot proposal to allow the department to collect a 2% sales and use tax, in addition to the state’s 6.25%.

Additionally, voters statewide will have the opportunity to weigh in on 17 proposed state constitutional amendments. The amendments center around issues such as property tax reduction and funding water supply projects. To view all 17 propositions, click here.
