Following state and county orders temporarily closing parks, the city of Tomball announced April 8 its parks will be closed April 10-12 and will reopen at 6 a.m. April 13.

Gov. Greg Abbott temporarily closed all state parks and historic sites April 7 until further notice to help curb the spread of the coronavirus, while Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo signed an order April 8 to temporarily close all parks countywide through Easter weekend, April 10-13, in hopes of discouraging social gatherings.

City of Tomball parks include Juergens Park, Jerry Matheson Park, Theis Attaway Nature Center and others.
