Tomball Little League is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the start of the spring 2023 season. Cary Kelley, vice president of administration, said for the league it means continuing the legacy of the Tomball Little League.

"We've had a long legacy of playing baseball here, and to have a league that continues to grow every year is something we are very proud of," Kelley said.

The new jerseys for next season will include a special 50th anniversary logo.

Online registration is open through Jan. 15 for ages 4-16. Boys and girls are eligible to play. Two in-person registration events will also take place Dec. 17 and Jan. 14 from 9-11 a.m. at the Tomball Little League boardroom at the Stovall Sport Complex, located at 725 N. Cherry St., Tomball.

Teams will begin playing in late January, and practice will start Jan. 30.

Opening day, March 4, will start the season with the Little League's Parade of Teams down Main Street at 7:30 a.m. followed by a presentation on Field One and a ceremonial first pitch. 808-502-0001 or 806-502-0005 for fundraising and events.
