During its Feb. 5 regular meeting, Tomball City Council approved on first reading three Tomball Economic Development Corp. agreements with various commercial businesses, including Billiard Factory and Della Casa Pasta.

The economic agreements include rental assistance and job creation incentives, which are performance-based and will not be paid out until the respective businesses have fulfilled their obligations laid out in the agreements.

Billiard Factory will receive $95,909 in incentives for the creation or retention of primary jobs, according to the Feb. 5 agenda packet. The company is building a 72,750-square-foot corporate distribution facility located within the Tomball Business and Technology Park at 2013 S. Persimmon St. Billiard Factory will bring 25 full-time employees to the location and create 15 additional full-time employees over the next 3-4 years.

LOMA Health and Wellness, PLLC will receive $8,880 in rental assistance for opening a 1,595-square-foot location at 604 Baker Drive, Ste. D, Tomball, according to the Feb. 5 agenda packet. The business specializes in hormone replacement therapy, weight loss management, integrative medicine, nutrition and overall preventive medicine.


Della Casa Pasta will receive $10,000 in rental assistance for opening a 6,350-square-foot location at 22525 Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, Tomball, according to the Feb. 5 agenda packet. The new location will allow the business, which manufactures and distributes fresh pasta products, more space for machinery and to have a retail space.
