Tomball ISD Chief Financial Officer Jim Ross plans to retire in June, he said in a Jan. 5 interview.
“When I retire in June, I will have been with the district for 20 years,” Ross said.
Ross said when he joined the district, TISD had seven schools.
“Now, we have 22, [and] we’re building five more,” Ross said. “I’ve seen all of the growth of the district, and so it’s very special to me.”
Following his retirement in June, Ross said he plans to work part-time with the district to help oversee bond projects.
“It’s just going to be a watchful monitoring of what’s going on,” Ross said.
