Here is when students in Tomball, Magnolia ISDs return for the 2021-22 school year

With a few weeks remaining before the upcoming 2021-22 school year, here are key dates to note for Tomball and Magnolia ISDs. The districts both resume classes in mid-August.

MISD students return to school Aug. 11, while students will be back in the classroom Aug. 17 in TISD.

Other key dates to know for the fall semester include student holidays for Labor Day on Sept. 6, Election Day on Nov. 2 and Thanksgiving spanning Nov. 22-26. Students in both districts also have the same winter break schedules, spanning Dec. 20 to Jan. 4.

The last day of school in MISD is May 24. The last day for TISD students is May 26, according to district information. MISD and TISD trustees approved the calendars for the 2021-22 school year in February 2021 and February 2020, respectively.
