Costco is planning a store and fuel station at the northeast corner of Hwy. 249 and Holderrieth Road in Tomball next year, according to documents submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Read more.
4. Macy’s to move distribution center from Houston to Tomball
Tomball City Council approved a Tomball Economic Development Corp. agreement with Macy’s Inc. on Feb. 7 for the company to relocate its distribution center to the Lovett Industrial development at the Grand Parkway and Rocky Road in southern Tomball. The company currently operates out of a facility in the city of Houston but will move to a proposed 900,000-square-foot distribution center within Tomball city limits. Read more.

An H-E-B was slated to open later in 2022 in the city of Magnolia as the anchor of Magnolia Place, a development bringing a mix of residential, retail and commercial spaces to the intersection of FM 1488 and Spur 149. Read more.
