Starting Sept. 8, free flu vaccinations will be available at Tamina's Sleepy Hollow multipurpose building at 9845 Sleepy Hollow Road, Conroe.

Hosted in collaboration between Tamina nonprofit Children's Books on Wheels and Christus Healthy Mobile Living Unit, the vaccinations will be provided Sept. 8, Sept. 15, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.

"[Christus] is providing immunization for children in the Conroe area," CBOW Executive Director Rita Wiltz said. "The children will have access to immunizations and HPV shots."

Adults can also get their flu shots free of charge.

Those wishing to get their vaccinations are asked to social distance, and anyone attending above the age of 2 is asked to wear a mask.

Shots will be given from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. by appointment only, which can be scheduled by calling 713-803-1880.
