Visitors to The Woodlands Children’s Museum can celebrate Father’s Day by participating in Magical Dad's Day, a magician-themed arts and crafts day with performances from local magicians. Fathers and children can also enjoy a special story time.

The freedmen’s town of Tamina will be having a fish fry fundraiser and historic photo exhibit to celebrate Juneteenth. All proceeds will benefit mobile literacy for children.

June 19: Identify local species in The Woodlands



National Pollinator Week will begin June 19. Residents are invited to participate in BioBlitz, a weeklong event in which participants can upload photos of local flora and fauna to a database to help identify local species in the area. The event will culminate in a celebration June 24 displaying local finds and discussing the local ecosystem.
