Several events are planned this weekend in The Woodlands area, beginning the evening of Oct. 8, featuring live music and several outdoor activities. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.
Fall concert series
The Market Street concert series continues with music from the Chad Ware Band, presenting classic country favorites with touches of classic rock. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the lawn during the performance.
Community Helper Day
The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services is holding an event where attendees can meet local first responders and learn how to help their community.
Halloween Pickleball Tournament
Players age 18 and older can join a Halloween-themed pickleball tournament at Falconwing Park.

Movie Madness 'Scream'
The community is invited to an outdoor screening of the popular horror movie "Scream." Chairs and blankets are encouraged; the event is for ages 13 and up, and children should be accompanied by a parent.
'Lazos' performance
The Woodlands Diversion presents "Lazos," a celebration of Latin American music and culture. Performed by Ensemble Diversion, the program includes classical works by Latin American composers, folk music and modern popular music.
Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas
Runners can participate in the annual 10 for Texas 10-mile race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and the One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run through The Woodlands.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be responsible for closing and reopening lanes on streets along the race route. Lane closures will take place from 6-10:30 a.m. to accommodate runners. See more details about traffic impact here.
Concert in the Park
Residents will enjoy live music at Northshore Park on Sundays this fall for a concert series hosted by The Woodlands Township. Concerts will feature classic rock, pop and country music on Sunday evenings. This Sunday will feature country music from Chris Kizzia.
