During Conroe ISD's July 18 board meeting, the first Grand Oaks High School principal was named, a call for public input on the naming of the district's new intermediate school was made, and it was announced that Lucille J. Bradley Elementary School is officially complete. 1) Chris Povich was named principal of Grand Oaks High School. The York Junior High School principal has 20 years of experience in CISD. 2) Residents are invited to provide input for the naming of Flex 18, CISD’s new intermediate school in the Grand Oaks High School feeder zone. Suggestions will be accepted until Aug. 11, and submitted names will be shared with the board of trustees during the Aug. 15 board meeting. Submit your suggestions here. 3) Lucille J. Bradley Elementary School was officially complete June 28. The building will be ready for the first day of school, Aug. 16. Construction timelines for Grand Oaks High School and Flex 18 are on schedule to open in August 2018.
