“Our family is a beautiful mix of Italian and Latin culture,” co-owner Enrique Orioli said in the release. “My grandmother, Nonna Elda, and my grandfather, Domenico, were born and raised in Italy but met and married in South America after World War II. Our Italian restaurant concepts are successfully operating with the recipes my Nonna Elda brought with her from Italy. Now, we are excited to share our Latin roots with the vibrant flavors of the Pan American stretch with the same level of quality and excellence you’ve come to expect from us.”
According to the release, Costa Fina combines modern techniques with a Latin coastal influence featuring food made from scratch with imported ingredients. Featured dishes include guajillo-marinated, braised cabrito and the borrego enmolado, which is a braised lamb shank topped with a mint mole. A chile relleno dish and seafood items such as scallop tiradito with a Peruvian citrus marinade are among other items on the menu.
The restaurant bar includes a diverse wine collection; cocktails; and a selection of tequila, mezcal and rum.
The restaurant is the fifth in The Woodlands owned by the Orioli Restaurant Group.
