CorkScrew BBQ Corkscrew BBQ is one of 12 participating local restaurants in the inaugural Woodlands BBQ Festival.[/caption] The Woodlands will play host to the inaugural BBQ Festival Sept. 25 at Town Green Park as a community partnership between Stibbs & Co. Attorneys, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. “So far we have 12 committed participating BBQ joints,” said Hayley Adams, The Woodlands BBQ Festival organizer and transactional legal assistant for Stibbs & Co. “Some of the joints are located here. We plan to cap the number of participating joints at 16-18.” Participating restaurants include Corkscrew BBQ, The Brisket House, Tejas Chocolate, Southside Market & Barbeque, Pinkerton’s Barbecue, Goode Co. Barbeque, Harlem Rd. Texas B.B.Q., Southern Q BBQ and Catering, Tin Roof B-B-Q, Roegel Barbecue Co., Spring Creek Barbeque and Blood Bros. Texas Barbecue. Texas country music artists Jesse Raub, Jr. and Clayton Gardner will perform during the festival, Adams said. Sponsorships include CBS Rental & Supply, Stibbs & Co. Attorneys, CRU Trading Company, Efficient Wealth Management and Global Edge Consultants. Adams said sponsorship opportunities are still available. General admission tickets cost $60 and include unlimited barbecue samples. VIP admission tickets cost $120 and include early entry, unlimited samples, a festival T-shirt, two drink tickets and a tote-bag. VIP attendees may enter the park at noon.
