Fort Bend County officials gathered May 15 to break ground on Sugar Land’s Galaxy All Abilities Park, the first all-abilities park funded by the county, according to a news release.

"Creating a park accessible to people of all abilities represents our commitment to community togetherness, allowing individuals of every capability to play together, form connections and share life's joys," Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers said in the release. "As one of the most diverse counties in the nation, it's essential that we honor unique differences while establishing environments and experiences where everyone can share a sense of belonging and appreciation."
