Sept. 17: Sunset Symphony with Vivaldi Music Academy

The Vivaldi Music Academy will perform a free quartet performance on Sept. 17. This sunset classical music event is courtesy of faculty members from Vivaldi Music Academy playing classical music. Sept. 18: Kaylee Strong-Totally Teal Trot

The third annual Charity Fun Run to Raise Awareness for Ovarian Cancer will be on Sept. 18. The event will quick off with a Zumba Warm Up before the start of Run. All proceeds from the charity fun run benefit 11-year-old Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer Survivor Kaylee’s OvarEmbrace, Totally Teal Chemo Care Bag Program. The Care Bags are sent around the country and delivered to local hospitals to those currently completing treatment. Race fees start at $30.00. Sept. 18: Let’s DisDance with Rhythm India Dance Co.

Instructors from Rhythm India Dance Co. will be doing a free Bollywood dance demo and showcase at Sugar Land Town Square Plaza. In between the demos, Rhythm India dancers will perform showcases of some of their most recent dances. Sept. 18: MCTX Oktoberfest

At Missouri City's Oktoberfest patrons can enjoy authentic German music, games, food and beverages from local businesses. In addition, compete in costume contests, beer stein hoisting competitions, and additional activities. New to this year's festivities is the Inaugural Wiener Dog Race. 4-7 p.m. The race is set to begin around 5:40 p.m. Free (admission).
