The new drive-thru Shake Shack location, the second in Texas, officially opened its doors June 22 at 2515 Town Center Blvd. N., Sugar Land.

Drew Neillie, regional marketing manager for the New York-based burger joint, said Houston had already been a “great market” for the restaurant, but now the company is leaving its footprint in the west Houston area with its two new drive-thru locations in Sugar Land and a Katy location that opened July 26.

Shake Shack serves up a variety of burger options, including the classic ShackBurger, a veggie burger and a new ’Shroom Burger, which is a fried portobello mushroom filled with Muenster cheese. Chicken sandwiches, french fries and hot dogs are also available options.
