Here are some businesses and restaurants that have recently opened or are coming soon in the Sugar Land and Missouri City area.

Black Rock Coffee Bar,
an Oregon-based coffee chain with more than 120 locations nationwide, opened its ninth Houston location in Missouri City on March 31.

The new store is located at 9540 Hwy. 6, and offers both packaged roasted coffees and made-to-order beverages, teas, smoothies and Fuel energy drinks.

Seven25 Cafe & Daiquiris, a new restaurant, pub and cocktail bar in Missouri City, is now open.


The new diner is located at 9050 Hwy. 6, Ste. 120, and opened March 18. The diner offers scratch Southern food, alcoholic drinks and daiquiris. In addition, customers can order deserts, such as an Oreo cheesecake or "the candy slab."

Shine Beauty, a hair product store, opened its second location in Missouri City on April 13.

The store offers beauty products, such as shampoos, conditioners, straighteners, products for dying and bleaching hair, wigs, weaves, and clips in a space that is more than 1,200 square feet, store manager Jason Go said.

Uberrito,
a Houston-based Tex-Mex chain, is expanding to Sugar Land and Cypress by the summer, marking the fourth and fifth chain locations for the restaurant.

The Sugar Land location at 2735 Town Center Blvd. is set to open by late summer.

McAlister’s Deli plans to open in late 2023 in Fort Bend Town Center II at the intersection of Hwy. 6 and Fort Bend Parkway Tollway Road, a McAlister’s representative said via email. The Missouri City development is confirmed to also include Olive Garden, Marble Slab Creamery and James Avery.

Five Below, a discount store with a focus on selling many items for $5 or below, is coming soon to Missouri City.


A spokesperson for the chain said April 3 that the new 8,470-square-foot store at Fort Bend Town Center Phase II is projected to open fall 2023.
