Black Rock Coffee Bar, an Oregon-based coffee chain with more than 120 locations nationwide, is set to open its ninth Houston location in Missouri City on March 31 and is offering free 16-ounce drinks all day to celebrate.

The new store is located at 9540 Hwy. 6, and will offer both packaged roasted coffees and made-to-order beverages, teas, smoothies and Fuel energy drinks.

"We are excited to continue our rapid growth in the Lonestar State—a state we love,” said Jeff Hernandez, co-founder and executive chair of Black Rock Coffee Bar, in a March 28 news release. “Just over a month ago, we opened a new location in the Memorial area, so we are very committed to providing our Houston metro-area customers with fast and friendly service. Our baristas are the most important people for our brand—they know what it takes to be the best for our customers.”

The Missouri City store includes 2,000 square feet of space, its “signature industrial modern design” and a large Texas-themed mural, according to a March 28 news release. 214-463-2721. https://br.coffee/
